                              trying

searing
devastation

the nurturer
          cleaving
                    that swirling
                              darkness

soaking
the tears
a sponge

embracing
the child
a mother

embracing
the mother

infusing
with love
and power

unflinching
unswayed
unconquered

ever
          imparting life
                    in the circle
                              of love
