Where We Are - Dominican Republic
Scarboro Missions first sent missioners to the Dominican Republic in 1943.
At one time, this was our largest mission. With the development of the Church in the Dominican Republic and the increase of vocations to the priesthood, our missioners have gradually moved on to other places.
Today Frs. Joe McGuckin, Lou Quinn and Lionel Walsh continue our commitment to the people of the Dominican Republic working in the communities of Bani, Ocoa and Matanzas.
