We are shocked and saddened by the horrible attack on members of the Centre Culturel Islamique de Quebec that left 6 people dead and many more injured. On behalf of Scarboro Missions, I want to extend my condolences to the families of the victims and to their community. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
On this tragic occasion, may Canadians of all faith traditions recommit themselves to building a Canada rooted in values of respect, compassion and dialogue.
